Ok Witch Please was really cute. I loved the premise and it has so many things that I love, especially with romance books. It is about magic and the magic system is realistic\/makes sense. It is a contemporary book that alternates POV, but both perspectives are clearly delineated and I enjoy reading them both. The main characters both have a lot of personality and I loved seeing things from both of their perspectives. Plus, a bi-man who is a virgin is not a common character in books (that I have seen) and it wasn’t a fetish! (and the reason for it was pretty great – the virgin part, the bisexuality is just because he was)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was very excited to learn that there are other books in this series because the secondary characters are a lot of fun in this book and I can’t wait to see what other hijinks occur. 4.5\/5<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was so excited to receive an ARC of this book since Witch Please was a very highly anticipated read in 2021 for me. It is a contemporary romance about magic with switching POV, strong family\/friend bonds, and is LGBTQIA+ positive\/sex positive? YES PLEASE! This book was so much fun, and I loved the overlap with Witch Please. You don’t need to read Witch Please in my mind to read and enjoy this book, but I definitely think it helps, since this book starts towards the end of Witch Please and continues on. I saw there is going to be a third book in the series and I am already super excited for that one and can see how it will tie in to these two & have a guess where it will pick up from this book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This book follows Clem as she tries to distract the witch hunter that comes to town due to Danica’s actions in Witch Please. It alternates between Clem’s perspective and Gavin the witch hunter’s perspective, and both characters are very distinct & fun to read. Clem definitely got on my nerves a lot more than Danica did, but Gavin made up for my annoyance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was a really enjoyable read, and I was able to finish it in just a few days. I can’t say I liked it more or less than Witch Please, since Clem & Danica are quite different, but the relationships between all of the characters is just so incredibly lovely.
