I really enjoyed this book – like a surprising amount almost. Not that I was expecting it to be bad, but just I was surprised how much I enjoyed it\/how little I wanted to put it down. This is very much a friends to lovers book, and I haven’t read a good one of those (adult not YA) in I don’t even know how long. The character growth was really nice to see, and even though I wanted to smack the characters at times, it all made sense. All actions were justified and I really felt like I could relate to what they were going through. It touches on some deep issues, making the characters feel real, and it was really sweet.
