My name is JoAnna and I am the devious mastermind behind this site. This site comes from an avid love of reading and then having to explain all of the books I am reading to anyone who will listen. I love to make people read the books I love, and I love to hear people tell me that one of my favorite books became one of their favorites. I recently was told by someone that the way I described a book I hated made them want to read that book, and it made me think that maybe I should write my reviews of books down so people could decide whether or not to read them after hearing my honest thoughts. And trust me, I am going to be *honest*. I have always hated writing reviews on websites like Goodreads because I don&#8217;t like saying negative things about something that could be someone&#8217;s favorite book, so this way it is my personal opinion on my own site &#8211; but I promise I won&#8217;t say anything negative unless I truly believe it! I have started writing out my reviews on Goodreads, so these might be duplicative if you follow me on there, but I am going to do my best at expanding the reviews, giving more detail and thought about a wider range of books. I also hope to have guests write reviews on here as well, as I have some friends who also read some wonderful books too.
